The University is working with Blackboard to extend our current Blackboard VLE to add more functionality to Aston Blackboard and ensure that Aston Student and staff could utilise available resources to the maximum extent. This project includes the development of a Mobile Student App, a Learning Community feature and a Content Repository environment.
Blackboard Development project offers an opportunity to shape the digital learning requirement of the university from a learner’s perspective. Learning feature requirements will be highlighted from our student population then the digital needs of our student body will be assessed and prioritised through research, surveys, and questionnaires.
Learner’s feedbacks will allow improving available features and creating additional tools to reflect and support the needs of Blackboard’s users. New tools and features will enable students to learn and do more through Blackboard VLE.
